I Saw the Sun (Güneşi Gördüm) is a Turkish film by Mahsun Kırmızıgül. In the film two brothers go on opposite sides in a Turkish-Kurdish conflict| it opened at the number one position at the Turkish box office in 2009. The film was announced as the Turkish submission to the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in September 2009.。Guy is an experienced British fighter pilot who is in command of Britain's first manned mission to space. He has trained for this for three years at the height of the Cold War and now he is alone in space with a malfunctioning capsule.
