今年，FIRST训练营召集7位青年导演，8位青年摄影师完成七部风格各异的类型短片，这七部以疫情为背景的短片将组成电影《孤岛》。导师曹保平这样释义“孤岛”主题：“过去的日子里，我们不得不退回到被分割、被分隔的生活区间中，有更长时间和自己相处。一些隐秘的、不易察觉的日常细节、思绪脉络浮现出来。”。这部纪录剧集讲述一个以不明飞行物为缘起的宗教如何转变为一个备受争议的邪教，片中包含与教徒、反对者及雷尔本人的访谈。。After the American Army shot down a UFO in 1947, generations of elite commandos were secretly trained to deal with the aliens' feared return. However, the extra-terrestrials never came back and the elite force was disbanded.
