Tora-san comes back to his old home in Shibamata. His university professor Mr Okakura (Masakane Yonekura) suddenly arrives at his home which makes Tora-san so angry that he plans to leave home. However, his old friend Chiyo (Kaoru Yachigusa) comes to visit him. The two of them begins to reminisce about old times, and has developed a kind of bonding between them. At the same time, Mr Okakura has become attracted to Chiyo, which makes this the first ever love triangle for Tora-san. Superstar Kinuyo Tanaka has a special appearance in this film.。幸珍（月光）是一位女工。某日她偶遇一位叫拉维的男子，并与之一见钟情。而此时，拉维即将出国进修两年，于是两人约定两年之后的10月8日再次相见。两年的时间里，月光认识了一位叫做“林”的中国男生。林非常喜欢月光，于是展开了对月光的追求，但月光却始终不愿给林任何机会，因为她的爱从拉维出国那一刻起，就已变成永远的等待……。
