When a casino owning dog named Charlie is murdered by his rival Carface, he finds himself in Heaven basically by default since all dogs go to heaven. However, since he wants to get back at his killer, he cons his way back to the living with the warning that doing that damns him to Hell. Once back, he teams with his old partner, Itchy to prep his retaliation. He also stumbles on to an orphan girl who can talk to the animals, thus allowing him to get the inside info on the races to ensure his wins。Jerry（郑伊健饰）、Cherrie（郑秀文饰）还有许乐（葛文辉饰）是好朋友，Jerry和许乐一直把Cherrie当成是“兄弟”，所以Jerry完全不感受到其实Cherrie很早就喜欢上自己，而且凭着帅气的外表结识了众多女友。后来认识了Jerry认识了芳芳（梁咏琪饰），并产生了感情，Cherrie看到Jerry认认真真的谈起恋爱来，心里很不是滋味。直到芳芳决定出国留学与Jerry分手，Cherrie才敢说出自己的爱意。。
