本电影是一部围绕保护西域古墓为主题展开的故事，故事的主人公李天祥董玲为保护古墓和意图盗墓的乌鸦大荣马宏林陆涛等人斗智斗勇，几经曲折险象环生，虽然历经险难，但最终还是在李天祥董玲的不懈努力下，将找到的西域古墓移交给了考古队，让国家文物得到了妥善的保护。。出生于源国的青年 —— 碧涵，在某个重大事件后，承接了属于自己的使命，与师姐若讷一同踏上了寻找宝器「鸿蒙」的征程。这一路上与不同的人相遇，在完成使命的过程中，还有多少未知的事件在等待着他们？。In the tenth series, in the second episode ("The Son'll Come Out") Michael comes out as gay to his parents, first to his father after coming home drunk then later to his mother.
