一群少年怀着好奇心悄悄地进入到水晶湖旁一个废弃营地所在的树林里，却集体失踪了……六周之后，男孩特伦特邀请他的一帮朋友来到水晶湖旁他父亲的小木屋开周末狂欢派对，此时，一个名叫克莱的男孩出现，并告之他是来到这里寻找六周前失踪的妹妹的。由于警方搜寻无踪，所以克莱才决定独自寻找妹妹，当地居民劝告他不要进入树林，因为任何一个失踪的人都遇害了，但克莱坚持己见。一个女孩詹娜决定帮助克莱一起进入树林寻找妹妹。他们找到水晶湖被废弃的营地，在里面寻找各种可能的线索。然而很快他们会发现自己将面对一个蒙面的恶魔，而他正是重生的杀人狂魔杰森。。SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。
